We want to thank all those who read our blog. We appreciate your 'courtesy following' and we know it must be getting boring, but we are sort of at the point in our mission where we seem to be doing the same things week after week. Take heart that there are only 3 months to go. We appreciate our readership.
Elder Pew has spoken in church once again - this time at the Stretford Ward, which is his 2nd time speaking there. He spoke on the problem with trying to Love God and Mammon or serving two masters at the same time. He found an article in fairmormon.org where a general authority spoke about trying to please God while not offending Satan. We need to offend Satan!
We have served breakfasts, lunches, dinners, snacks and treats to all who come our way. This past week, we taught our three Institute classes, presided over the BYU-I Pathway weekly gathering and substitute taught the Eternal Marriage class for Institute. We enjoy teaching and we have learned a lot preparing all these lessons. Tonight, Elder Pew teaches about the Plan of Happiness from 2 Nephi, chapter 2 in Institute.
We hung out with 10 fun young missionaries who always amaze us and make us laugh too.

Zone Specialized Training
Our new Zone Leaders, Elder Peterson and Elder Green, did a nice job
at Zone Training. They had a great day planned with training from our
Mission President, Preach My Gospel and other important information.
They asked us to do a short training on Inviting people to the waters of Baptism.
To be honest, we always thought that would be hard, but we have found it
is quite easy and we can often do it in the 1st or 2nd lesson taught. It is fun
being asked to help train and we are always amazed at how attentive and
ready to learn these missionaries are.

Sister Cristabal and Fromgren say goodbye as Sister Fromgren from Norway finishes her mission and leaves for home. We are excited to see them leave, having served such successful missions, but also sad too. It is possible we never see some of these missionaries again - but we hope not!
We will Miss Sister Fromgren. She is now home in Norway.

New Institute Class Begins...Emma Kerr Teaches Marriage Prep...A BIG HIT!

very involved discussion.

| Sister Pew made 132 Cinnamon rolls for Institute last week. It was a PROJECT but everyone seemed to love them. (Not shown, but Elder Pew made the icing.) He mixed in cream cheese to make it even thicker and yummier. Only 120 of them were eaten, so the missionaries got one each. (They've been known to hang around when YSA are being fed) |

This is such a pretty building...Asia House is a high rent student accommodation, usually filled by students from wealthy Chinese families.

| We have walked by the Rylands Library so many times but finally we went inside. It is a very Gothic Building but the third largest collection of academic books in the UK. It opened Jan 1, 1900. It has been part of the University of Manchester and still holds many collections from the University, even though it is not near the school. |

| President Mayall and President Fletcher took Elder Pew out to the football game for a first time experience at a Professional Football Match. They are massive Manchester United Fans and treated him to a great night. Pres Fletcher is conducting Stake Business before the match begins. |

(but they use Family Search and Ancestory.com for their sources) Sister Pew spent 2 hours with Mr Johnston last week trying to solve the mysteries of George Edward Hyde. She only found out there are more mysteries. |
