Owners of a Second Home...

At the end of June, we purchased both a lot and a home at Red Ledges development in Heber City.   We looked at a number of places in the general Heber City area, because we love the beauty of the Heber valley; we looked at Victory Ranch and also a number of homes outside golf course developments.   Victory Ranch was appealing to Reed because the golf course there was so good, but it was undeveloped with few homes and an uncertain plan for development of facilities.   But it is beautiful with the Provo River running through it.   Red Ledges does not have as nice of golf course but is more developed with a better plan for more of a family atmosphere down the road.   So we purchased lot 742 on a culdesac that overlooks the 3rd hole fairway and has a beautiful view of Mt Timpanogos.   We paid less than the asking price and also got the furnishings that were in it, which was very helpful as we got living room and 3 bedrooms of furniture in the deal.   The home overlooks the 6th hole fairway.  Right now our plan is to eventually sell the Alpine Villas home and build a home on lot 742.   But that is after our mission.  

Our family enjoyed the "Heber House" summer of 2013 !
