Time is moving so quickly....Warm Summer Nights have arrived. Our Air Conditioner kicks on, the
humidity is a little higher and we are definitely becoming San Diego
Soft. The Institute is very quiet as most of the students have gone home. We
have substituted for Brother Walton a few times but classes are
smaller and things are pretty casual.
We have enjoyed family visits and some down time. We have added an
assignment and we are now San Diego Temple
Ordinance Workers on Saturday. We continue our
Come Follow Me Sunday Night discussion groups and
we enjoy the Summer Sales teams that are in town for the season.
They are a tremendous addition to the Ward. YSA Bishop, Phil Wing,
continues to use us to teach 5th Sunday lessons, be a support to the
the Elder's Quorum and Relief Society. He and his wife, Mindy, include us in
not only the YSA ward but the San Diego 7th Ward Activities. Here are some
of our summer Happenings. |
