A school holiday called for a little weekend trip to Dinosaurland. We called our friends, the Morgan's, and traveled through some desolate country to Vernal, Utah. We had a great time where we swam in the hotel pool, visited the dinosaur museum, ate at Cafe Rio (Yes...a new hot spot in town), saw a movie, walked the Vernal temple grounds, ate lunch at Cowan's in Duchesne, saw fall leaves and had yummy shakes at Granny's in Heber. Mostly, we drove and talked and spent time together...It was a fun little get-away.

I have great memories there. I still remember getting gem rocks...I thought they were as great as diamonds!
